The Al Pack Remix was a total surprise. Al Pack made it without my knowledge using samples from my radio show jingles and from my original tune. He sent it to me and for what ever reason I missed the message so hadn’t heard it. It wasn’t until Al Pack came to visit Jersey, staying with the mighty Shoogo that he asked me ‘what did you think of the remix of your Blue Skies I sent you?’. I was like ‘What remix?’. He then proceeded to play it on Shoogo’s massive rig and it blew my mind. He thought I hated it because I didn’t reply to his message when in reality I loved it and was deeply touched he had taken the time to make it.
The lesson here is if someone doesn’t reply to your message don’t assume they are ignoring you!
